Troubleshooting

No results for my area

If your search returns no practitioners, start by widening your location radius. On the results page, open the distance filter and try 25 or 50 miles — many patients in smaller markets drive to a nearby metro for specialty care.

If distance doesn't help, try removing modality or specialty filters. Some practitioners treat more conditions than their listing suggests, and a broader search surfaces them.

Still nothing? The practitioner network grows as we add more practices. Email us at hello@wildroothealth.com with your ZIP code and what you're looking for, and we'll point you at the nearest options we know of while we keep expanding.

I can't find my specific condition

Conditions on WildRoot are grouped by body system and by holistic modality, so your first instinct may not match ours. Try searching by the body system affected (for example, Digestive system for IBS, reflux, or bloating). The category page lists common conditions the practitioners in that system treat.

You can also search by the modality you want to try — for example, Acupuncture or Functional medicine — and read each practitioner's About section for the specific conditions they handle.

If your condition still doesn't appear anywhere, that usually means no practitioner in your area has listed it as a specialty. In that case, search by a related condition and reach out to a practitioner directly via an inquiry to ask whether they treat what you're dealing with.

The Payment Navigator isn't working

If the Payment Navigator tool shows an error or won't load, first refresh the page. Most intermittent issues clear on a retry.

If it still won't load, check whether your browser blocks third-party scripts — certain privacy extensions interfere with the tool. Try a different browser or a private window as a quick test.

The Navigator provides general guidance on HSA/FSA eligibility and insurance coverage based on public rules — it is not a coverage guarantee. For your specific plan, always confirm with your insurance provider or HSA/FSA administrator. If the tool itself is broken, let us know via the 'Report an inaccuracy' link at the bottom of any content page, or email hello@wildroothealth.com.

My inquiry hasn't been answered

After you submit an inquiry, WildRoot reaches out to the practitioner on your behalf. Their response time varies — some reply same-day, others within a week. You'll receive an email when they respond.

Check your inquiry status at any time: sign in using the email you submitted with, and you'll see the full status timeline.

If it's been more than seven days with no update, the practitioner's email may have bounced or the message may have landed in spam on their end. Email us at hello@wildroothealth.com with your inquiry tracking link and we'll follow up directly.

Still stuck?

If none of the above covers what you're seeing, email hello@wildroothealth.com with a description of the problem, your browser, and (if it helps) a screenshot. We read every email and usually reply within one business day.
