I would highly recommend Karl to anyone seeking mental health treatment or medication management, especially if it's your first time doing so. The subscription model allows for as much or as little communication as needed. It takes the financial anxiety out of the decision of whether or not to schedule an appointment. He is available by phone and text when needed and is very responsive. This goes a long way when dealing with the uncertainty of mental health treatment. Karl offers fair pricing, compassion and understanding in a field that is often cold and costly. Full marks from me for Sensible Mental Health.

Karl Olson has been a huge part of me getting to a happy, comfortable place in my life. I’m deeply grateful for his care and support over the years. Karl has been part of my care team through some of the most difficult times—the challenges of Covid, the loss of my dad, and he was instrumental in my ADHD diagnosis. That diagnosis was truly life-changing for me. I genuinely don’t believe I’ve ever been as happy or content in my adult life as I am now, and I know I wouldn’t be here without Karl’s help. If you’re looking for a provider, you cannot go wrong with Karl Olson.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Olson. As a grown man it is not easy to show vulnerability and admit that you are in need help. However, from day one he set my mind at ease and I truly felt that I could allow him access to the darkest parts of my mind. Because of this, we were able to get onto a treatment plan truly did work. I am not one to normally write reviews, so I will summarize it this way: Dr. Olson truly cared about me, I felt absolutely no judgement, and he actually listened to what I was saying. I am so thankful that he was there to help me when I was in the darkest part of my life. Thank you Dr. Karl.

I’m a since-adolescence degenerate and Karl’s been my second-favorite drug dealer for the last like 10 years. My psychiatric medication providers prior didn’t care about me, they sure weren’t going to put in work for me, and I don’t think they enjoyed my humor. Karl’s different. He’s seen me through half-a-dozen med changes, filled out more forms for work than I care remember (sometimes urgently), and helped me come back from a smattering of hospital visits ready to get back into the swing of life. Even when I’m in the depths of it, he’s chill. Honestly, I think sometimes he’s worked harder at my mental health stability than I have. I owe him a lot. Can confirm LGBTQ-friendly! Quick edit to add: through the years, I’ve seen other prescribers for various services - intakes to programs, moved to Oklahoma for a disastrous year, even had second opinions on my prescriptions. I’ve never had one question the regimen I’m on, they’ve always applauded them and told me they were spot on.

I have been seeing mental health professionals off and on for the last 30 plus years…finding the right doctor can be overwhelming! Im so grateful to have found Dr. Karl. He is a doctor that is committed to helping me find the best medication management regime to address my specific needs. The last several years I’ve had a hard time finding the right medications. I struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD- while continuing to work through traumatic things. My general practitioner doctor was trying to figure out the best medicine for me but I needed someone who this was their specialty. Someone who knew the best medication to treat my specific case. This is exactly what I found with Dr. Karl Olson. I highly recommend him!
