I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition in the fall of 2023. For a year and a half I suffered from debilitating symptoms while continuously searching for answers. During this period I saw various dermatologists and rheumatologists, underwent extensive testing at the Mayo Clinic yet nothing I was prescribed was making a positive impact on my health. At this point the only treatment option that remained was to start on a drug usually reserved for cancer patients. I was hesitant, worried about the side effects and long term health implications so I started looking for alternative options which led me to RHS. My first appointment with Dr. Paul was in the summer of 2024 and I was immediately relieved that, like me, he was interested in exploring the root cause of symptoms and not just treating the symptoms like every other doctor I met with previously. After several tests he came up with a protocol to heal my gut and reduce inflammation. By simply taking supplements and changing my diet my symptoms have improved dramatically. If you have an autoimmune condition, inflammation and/or gut issues I urge you to give RHS a chance. If you are tired of going to see doctors who shrug their shoulders when you ask them “why do I have these symptoms?” then you’ll appreciate the approach of Dr. Paul. Two years after first meeting with him I can’t believe how much better I feel. I understand being skeptical but I highly recommend you give RHS a chance.

Working with Restorative Health Solutions has been an excellent experience. Dr. Deglmann's attention to detail, knowledge of the intricacies of combined test results, and especially catering a protocol to my overall needs versus putting me on a standard one-size-fits-all protocol, which sadly is becoming more common in the functional medicine world. He repeatedly took time to listen to and answer all of my questions, and continues to research and learn about new developments and research in the functional medicine arena. He knew when to pivot and try something different and had extensive understanding of test results as well as a network of other providers to consult with if any further questions remained unanswered. Some of the best marks of a good functional medicine provider are their thirst for knowledge, a continual desire to research and learn, and the willingness to reach out to other providers for clarification. RHS's system of communication is also efficient and effective, from my very first interactions with the front desk for scheduling, all email communications, even forthrightness about cost/finances, and most importantly attention to detail and care for me as a patient. It is not uncommon in the natural/functional health world to have communication issues, especially when problems come up during a treatment protocol. I have had email responses within an hour to 12 hours typically, and even phone calls for more urgent situations. Thanks to Dr. Deglmann and RHS, the root causes of my issues with histamine and high ferritin have been identified, my health has improved tremendously and I have a much better understanding of what it takes to maintain this for years to come.

My 47 year old son, a disabled military veteran, finally found out what was wrong with him thanks to Dr. Warren. He spent almost 10 years becoming weaker and more disabled until we completed Lyme testing and found out what could be done to help him. This was 6 months ago, since then, my son has improved and started doing things again. Previously he was barely able to make it through the day. Dr. Paul has been amazing in helping me restore my gut health over the last couple of years by way of testing, making dietary changes/recommendations, and the use of supplements. I spent well over 10 years trying to treat my ulcerative colitis in the traditional medical system, and medications were expensive and didn't seem to help much. I had many colonoscopies, and my doctors always said changing my diet wouldn't help. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Dr. Deglmann helped me regain my health back twice once after a terrible antibiotic experience during postpartum and everything that comes with postpartum stress. I have my energy, ability to get to sleep quickly and stay asleep back and probably the best digestion I’ve had my entire life! And then did it again after a parasite cleanse that I did. It’s been a great experience!
