From our patients

“After several months of testing and working through possible explanations, Dr. Plotnikoff figured out in large part what was going on. Within a week of implementing his action plan at that point, I was nearly moved to tears at how much better I felt.”

“After beginning treatment with Dr. Lind, my condition has significantly improved. I recently accomplished a major milestone by climbing Mount Rainier.”

“I have worked with Dr. Doyle, who uses a holistic, head-to-toe approach. She gathered a wealth of data, and wrote me a comprehensive list of treatments personalized to my health needs.”

“The Mayo Clinic had decided it was time to begin hospice care for our 16 year old child. Instead, we took him to see Dr. Plotnikoff. His attention to detail and thorough data gathering led showed us what was actually wrong with our son. He was able to both diagnose and treat our son. He is now FULLY HEALED and thriving again.”

“Catherine (Duncan, MA, BCC) has helped me see these unbalances in ways I could never have imagined possible. Through her different methods of healing, she has taught me about self-awareness, empathy, will-power, and what it means to have hope again.”

I developed chronic fatigue, pain, and other mysterious symptoms, and saw doctor after doctor who did absolutely nothing to try and help me. After 3-4 years of illness without treatment or any kind, I decided to try MPM. I am so grateful that I did. Dr. Lind basically saved my life. Unlike other doctors, she was willing to prescribe things, try things, and perform testing. She correctly identified the original trigger for my issues and I have been on a journey of healing ever since. I highly recommend Dr. Lind and MPM generally for anyone who is suffering from mysterious health conditions, long COVID, MCAS, or other similar immunological issues. MPM cares about the individual patient rather than making cynical cost-benefit collective decisions that ignore the individual patient's needs. They are willing to try experimental, off-label treatments that are proven safe. Sure, you have to pay out of pocket, but it's not because they are greedy; it's because they want to be able to operate outside the constraints imposed by insurance companies. They will work with you to try to keep costs down. If you've seen a bunch of other doctors with no luck, it's time to go to MPM. It's absolutely worth it.

Dr Lind made my son's condition a puzzle instead of a mystery. After 2 1/2 years, we had made some small gains but no one could give a hypothesis for his debilitating symptoms. In one visit, Dr Lind gave a hypothesis and explained how the tests would provide data. And one anti-histamine prescription has resulted in 30% improvement in weeks!

As a doctor with a complicated case, Dr. Lind had no problem jumping in and helping comb through and tweeze out the extra undiagnosed condition that didn’t match and overlapped with my other severe illnesses. Their office is real medicine. I just hope they never kick me out for all my crazy conditions! I felt like I had a serious person determined to hunt and with a 5 hour visit, I actually walked out happy! Dying people don’t usually say that. And she actually did an exam.

Minnesota Personalized Medicine are very intentional about who they staff, I can really feel that they want to make sure their patients are in good hands. Everyone I have met there has been professional, compassionate, and helpful. I work with Dr. Doyle and she is amazing, she combs over your history in detail, with curiosity and openness. Dr. Doyle (and I would assume the other physicians there) will give you a personalized treatment plan based on the data she gathers about your body, and checks in regularly to see how your treatments are working for you. She is so knowledgeable and wise. I have also met Dr. Plotnikoff, and he is a truly vibrant soul, intelligent, and you can tell he cares deeply about helping people, just like Dr. Doyle does. Some doctors are so bogged down from working with the public and become cold and callous. MPM is warm and patient, yet still efficient and professional. If you're new to functional medicine, the upfront costs can be daunting. But the amount of money I have spent in the medical industrial complex of America (out of pocket, and meeting deductibles) over 11 years of being chronically ill dwarfs what I will end up spending now to get the proper care I need. They are accommodating and aim to help patients find a way to afford high-quality care. MPM takes an integrated approach to understanding your holistic health experience. Be prepared to give a robust health history and undergo a variety of testing. If you can show up empowered, forthcoming, and committed to improving your health, your care team here will meet you in kind and guide you through the journey of achieving wellness. ☀️✨️💓

I write this review in hopes they read this and think twice about doing this to another person. I made an appointment early last year (Jan 2023). I was wasting away and in chronic pain and had zero answers from numerous other physicians across Minnesota. My appt was originally scheduled for March 9 with Dr. Lind but then I was contacted and told Dr. Plotnikoff wanted my case and my appt was rescheduled for April, so I held on with high hopes. I submitted release forms and medical records so that Dr. Plotnikoff could speak to everyone as he requires. He spoke to a couple of my physicians (according to them) but didn't speak to others and then I heard nothing back. When my appt was closing in I decided to call the clinic to check in and I was told that my appt was cancelled because Plotnikoff had the chance to attend some event outside the state so they needed to reschedule. They offered a new appt end of summer (August 21). I feared I wouldn't survive that long and they didn't seem to care how long I had already been waiting to be seen. I don't know why they strung me along like that, why they had me fill out all the forms, give my credit card to hold the appt, and why they even called a couple of my physicians if he was just going to dump my appt suddenly and not inform me. I wouldn't have known he was no longer seeing me had I not called, I would have wasted even more time waiting for that appt to come. I initially accepted the new appt date that they offered out of desperation and nowhere else to turn but I was fortunate to find another doctor who takes on complex cases and she was a true blessing. I'm grateful my appt at MN Personalized Medicine was cancelled because it lead me to finding an excellent physician who could help me, but I still wanted to share my experience because what they did to me at MN Personalized Medicine was not ok and if I hadn't found help I don't know if I'd still be here.
