Dr Beau Bates took the time to explain the procedure he was doing and how it works. I had the shock therapy on my hip flexor. Prior to coming in to see him I had 10 hours of physical therapy, after an MRI, and no change in the pain and stiffness. After shock therapy, I feel so much better. No longer am I crouched over, limping and in agony. Now I can exercise and strengthen my leg and hip. I strongly recommend that you go to him if your traditional pt is not working.

The entire staff is amazing, and over time I’ve had the chance to be seen by all of the doctors there. Each one brings not only expertise but also genuine care, which is something I didn’t realize I was missing until I found them. To give some background, since 2014 I’ve gone through five surgeries and years of physical therapy. My doctors kept prescribing different pain medications, and while the surgeries helped to a degree, the relief was always temporary. I was dealing with constant pain, numbness, and loss of motor control in my right leg. Over 11 years I saw my general doctor, a neurologist, two neurosurgeons, and a team of physical therapists. Despite all of that, nothing provided lasting relief, and my ability to control my right leg actually declined. That changed when I started seeing the doctors at Advantage Health Group in 2024. Within three months, my pain was gone. By six months, I was off all medications. Even better, I’ve noticed real improvements in my walking, strength, and overall quality of life. After more than a decade of trying everything else, I finally feel like I’m moving forward instead of backward. I can’t recommend Advantage Health Group enough. It was September of 2022 when I was referred to Advantage Health Group. I spent the previous 3 years seeing everybody and trying everything to figure out why I was in so much pain. I had an X-Ray and an MRI and I saw four spine specialists, 3 physical therapists, a nerve specialist, a Gastrologist, and many women's health doctors. I couldn't workout, travel in a car for more than 30 minutes, or sleep without being in extreme pain. Nobody could figure it out until I came to Advantage Health Group.  I walked in and Tricia (Bless her heart) greeted me right away with a huge smile and made me feel very welcomed. Katey then sat down with me in a room and let me know the next steps and she calmed my nerves and let me know I was in good hands as another new Doctor was going to review my case. Dr. Licktieg came in and was the first Doctor in 3 years to spend more than 10 minutes with me. I think it ended up being an hour or so and he listened to my entire case and asked so many questions (which I appreciated). Nothing was missed and I finally had a diagnosis praise the Lord!  I spent the next several months being treated and regaining movement and flexibility. Dr. Bovre then started working on strength exercises with me and I finally started feeling like myself again. Do your exercises people! Dr. Davis Bates and Dr. Beau Bates also listened to my concerns and helped out whenever it was needed. It hasn't been an easy road but all four Doctors got me in every time I was in pain and sent me home without pain and more exercises to help reduce future pain. So to Dr. Davis Bates, Dr. Bovre, Dr. Lickteig, Dr. Beau Bates, Tricia, Katey, and Allison THANK YOU for giving me my life back. BEST DOCTORS IN THE WHOLE WORLD!

Advantage Health Group is the real deal! I'm a long distance runner and had been suffering from persistent hip and shin pain for months before coming to them. I have several races on my schedule this year and was concerned that I would be sidelined and miss out on events I'd worked hard to qualify for. From the moment I started working with Dr. Davis, Allison and the team at Advantage, I knew I was in the right place. Dr. Davis approached my treatment methodically and focused on identifying the root cause of my problems vs. treating the symptoms. He paired in-clinic treatment with at-home drills that had direct and measurable impact. Over the course of my treatment, I was able to ramp up mileage and intensity without the pain returning. There were times when I'd come into an appointment truly flabbergasted by how effective the treatment was and how good I felt. The entire team is warm, welcoming and super knowledgeable. I had the privilege of coming all the way from Australia to receive treatment from this wonderful team. I went to several doctors in Australia and none could help me heal my plantar fasciitis and chronic pain. Ben and Allison have helped me with months of ongoing injuries and I truly feel I’ll never be able to express the extent of my gratitude.
